Executive Team Leader
I left New York City in 1998 to be closer to my very large extended family in Michigan. I moved without a job and landed almost immediately at ITS, where I’ve been ever since, serving as COO for more than 10 years until becoming the CEO. I came because I wanted to establish a company where people can live a great life in balance with their work – and I’ve stayed because I can make a bigger impact here than I ever could at a Fortune 100 company, and I can do it at home.
Home, by the way, has turned out to be an apple orchard of 100 or so heirloom trees with a focus on hard cider varieties. When I’m not at work, you can find me there with my wife, three daughters, and two dogs. I’ll probably be working on or under the Case steam engine built by my father, tending to a tree, or enjoying the engineering challenge and the creative process in my woodworking shop.
