ServiceNow Tech Consultant

Job Summary

This position will be focused on the implementation of ServiceNow within various customer environments. Job responsibilities include assessing customer needs and expectations, designing solutions to meet those needs, and then implementing that design. In addition to these activities the consultant may participate in the pre-sales process (proposal creation, presentations, sales calls, demos, etc.).

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of project delivery and solution delivery including:

  • Requirements gathering
  • Solution design
  • Application UI Configuration
  • Workflow Configuration
  • Development of required client specific reporting
  • Development of requirement integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc)
  • Interface with other internal technical/sales teams to successfully implement ServiceNow within customer environments
  • Be a key member of the overall implementation project team
  • Prepare all client facing and internal deliverables
  • Drive the continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiences
  • Travel required

Experience

  • 2-3 years work experience
  • ServiceNow implementation or administration experience preferred
  • ServiceNow SysAdmin certification preferred
  • ITIL v3 certification preferred
  • Proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments
  • Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc) and of working in a SaaS environment
  • Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL and other such technologies
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project delivery

Symantec Security Consultant

Job Summary

Senior Workflow Engineer

Job Summary

This position will be focused on the development and support of business process automation using Symantec�s Workflow Solution. Job responsibilities include assessing customer needs and expectations, designing solutions to meet those needs, and then implementing the design. In addition to these activities the consultant will participate in the sales process (proposal creation, presentations, sales calls, demos, etc.).

Non-Technical Requirements

  • Ability to travel.
  • Assisting customers with product implementations.
  • Prior on-site consulting experience.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and processes.
  • Experience translating business processes into an automated solution.
  • Work with a customer to develop a design and implementation plan for process automation projects.
  • Assume leadership on engagements and work without direct supervision, interfacing with the customer IT and business-function leaders.
  • Active role in the sales process which includes proposal creation, presentations, sales calls, research, and project scoping.
  • Creating design, implementation, detailed process and post engagement documentation.
  • Effective presentation and communication of technical product details and best practices.

Technical Requirements

  • Prior development and/or scripting experience (batch, powershell, vbscript, C, C#, etc.)
  • Familiarity with .NET development.
